Perhaps 150,000 visitors, thousands of local residents, hundreds of beggars, countless vendors. Dust from cars, motorcycles, tuk-tuks. Sounds of voices, music, loudspeaker announcements, and so many vehicle horns! Smells of food, bodies, animals, chemicals and burning garbage. Colors of the beautiful saris, the sun, the sky, thangkas.

The experience overwhelmed our senses. I can still close my eyes and travel back as if I am in a 3-D movie.
